Duke of Edinburgh Award
On the 13th January, each group gave a presentation on their experience of the DofE. This was made to parents, Mr. Brooke, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Leader in charge of Completions and to Mr. Fletcher, Headteacher.
There were 26 young people who started their DofE journey on the 24th April last year. The award has four different sections. Volunteering, Physical, Skills and Expedition. They have been working really hard and working in the local community on various projects from charity work to supporting local clubs. I'm sure that these organisations are very grateful for their on going support and without them couldn't have operated. It's good that young people want to help in their local community and support other people that need. They are all credit to the school and I'm very proud of all their efforts and achievements.
Well done to all of them.
