Budding reporters file their first stories

Two students from the Beaconsfield School participating in the Young Reporters Award, run by the Bucks Free Press have had their stories published.

Luke Hastings and Laura Fleming have written articlesabout local issues of interest and concern to them and had them published by the newspaper.  As Laura says about her piece on Children in Need "Our school works extremely hard fundraising for various charities throughout the year and it is something I am very proud to be a part of.  As part of my young reporters scheme for the Bucks Free Press, I wrote an article on the schools charity work for children in need and other children’s charities, as I felt that more people should be aware of how hard both teachers and students work to raise money for people who struggle with everyday life, because it is something that I think is very important for every school to do."
