Collection for Marie Curie

Three students have been singled out by their teachers for their charity fundraising work.  Jenny Gray, Coral Santiago and Emily Webb, who are Sixth Formers at The Beaconsfield School, were praised for their efforts in raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.  The students raised £42.00  by spending their breaks asking fellow students and staff at the school to donate.

Matron, Miranda Dubberley, who helped organise the fundraising said “The girls volunteered to give up their time and go around to sell daffodil badges  for charity.  We have a few students with cancer and some children whose parents have cancer too so it was a nice charity to support. ”
