Exam Results 2019
The percentage of students gaining grade 9 to 7 remained consistent, with the number of students gaining high grades in vocational and arts subjects also increasing. The number of students gaining grade 4 passes across 5 subjects has also increased. Grade 4 passes in English and Maths remain consistent and strong.
Headteacher, John Fletcher commented "I am pleased to inform you that the GCSE and BTEC outcomes are really strong. The results show that when individuals work hard and apply themselves excellent progress can be made, enabling students to progress to the next stage of their life with confidence and a sense of pride in their efforts.
We are looking forward to seeing many of last year’s Year 11 students, together with students from other schools, as they enrol in our Sixth Form courses which have been supplemented with the introduction of the International Baccalaureate Career Programme in 2020 which blends vocational and academic qualifications to help students prepare for apprenticeships and university in a more practical way."
Sign up for the Sixth Form is TBC. Applicants can contact the Head of Sixth Form, Mrs Juliet O’Donnell, on firstname.lastname@example.org
