It's Friday and the sun is shining! The end of a strange week but we are so inspired by the work the students are doing. Sadie in Year 10 is working on Parallelograms and forces! https://t.co/m6Po1SRD4R

The staff at The Beaconsfield School were shocked to hear of the untimely death of Chloe Middleton due to Covid-19. Chloe is remembered as an out going student who was full of life. Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this very difficult time.

If One Note is slow, the best advice is to do the work separately and copy and paste in or upload a word document.

Re: Students devices We are in the process of changing ICT providers currently. Unfortunately our new Wi-Fi enrolment system is taking longer to set up than we anticipated and we cannot guarantee it will be in place for Monday. Rather than have students bring in devices on Monday and not be able to use them, we would ask that devices remain at home. We are working round the clock to resolve this situation and will inform you as soon as the new enrolment system is up and running and students can bring in their devices. Thank you for your patience.

We would like to remind parents and students to keep themselves safe online at all times. Our website has lots of useful information, from social media guides for apps, addiction issues, anti-bullying and lots more (found under Students/Pastoral Safety). We regularly publish updates on our facebook site with regards to National Online Safety guides, please take the time to read these and discuss with your son/daughter about the implications of online safety. www.beaconsfield.school

Parents

Seeing the class teacher on the school gate and checking your child’s book bag for communications may not take place in secondary school but communication is none the less important. We welcome parents raising their concerns early so we can find solutions quickly before matters escalate.
